Irmo Fire Station – Irmo, SC

Boyer Construction broke ground for a new fire station on Childs St. in Irmo, SC in May 2019. This location will be the only one of the west of the train tracks that go down St. Andrew Road, and Lake Murray Blvd.  The site is 1.3 acres and will contain a single, one story pre-engineered metal structure, landscaping, parking, and a detention pond.

1890 Research and Extension – SC State University – Orangeburg, SC

Construction of a 14,000 square foot, 2-story building on the existing campus of South Carolina State University. The building consists of classrooms on the first level and Administrative offices on the second level along with associated support spaces.

Airfield Rescue & Firefighting Station at the Columbia Metropolitan Airport

The 19,000 square-foot Airfield Rescue & Firefighting Station at the Columbia Metropolitan Airport includes four drive-thru apparatus bays, office space, dormitory rooms, men’s and women’s locker rooms, fitness center, training rooms and command watch room.  The project includes demolition and re-development of existing facility into parking area upon occupancy of new facility.

Columbia Airport Restroom and Elevator Renovation

Complete renovation of all public restroom facilities at the Columbia Metropolitan Airport.  Scope of work included demolition, steel reinforcements, ceramic tile, toilet accessories, toilet partitions, LED backlit graphic ceilings.  Project had strict security restrictions and controls governed by U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
